Apple Tree Delight

Uslada, an apple variety that was widespread in the central regions of our country, appeared not so long ago, however, in a very short time, many gardeners managed to catch the fancy and become quite popular.

In this article you will find all the current information about this variety of apples.

What kind does it belong to?

Like many other similar varieties, Delight apples belong to the category of early autumn. Fruit ripening usually occurs in late summer or early September. True, you can pick apples a little earlier, slightly unripe.

Insufficiently ripe fruits can be stored for quite a long time, until the middle of winter (of course, subject to the proper storage conditions). These apples should be folded in wooden boxes and stored in a cool dry place (for example, in the cellar or on the balcony).

The ripe fruit is unlikely to lie very longAfter a few weeks they begin to deteriorate, so they should be consumed as soon as possible.

Like most other apple trees, the variety Uslada is one of the most fruitless. To achieve a bountiful harvest, you should plant such trees next to other apple varieties.

Planting such trees should be close to each other in order to ensure full cross-pollination. Own Delight to pollination is extremely low, therefore, if planting such a tree one by one, there will be no harvest at all or it will be minimal.

Description of the variety Uslada

It is easy to recognize the Varietta apple trees, first of all, by their small sizes - you can see this in the photo and read other features in the description.

This variety is semi-dwarf, so these apples are usually quite tiny (which makes it much easier to care for them).

The crown of a young tree has a rounded shape, and as it grows and matures, it gradually stretches.

The color of the fruit is greenish-yellow, with a delicate scarlet blush. To taste, Delight apples are unusually good (their name speaks for itself). They are traditionally referred to as dessert varieties of apples. The fruits are very juicy, sweet, with a slightly sour and raspberry flavor. These apples are good both in fresh form, and for various homemade preparations.

Breeding history

Apple tree of Delight - one of the numerous results of the works of the world famous breeder S.I. Isaev. For many years he conducted active experiments, crossed cultural and wild varieties of fruit trees.

As a result of one of these experiments in the early 60s of the last century, this variety appeared. In the 90s, he was zoned in the central part of the country, where he underwent many years of research.

The relative unpretentiousness, lack of special care and high resistance to weather conditions and pests have made Delight ideal for cultivation in both private gardening and industrial gardens. Further, its main characteristics.

Apple tree Uslada refers to frost-resistant crops that can be grown in central Russia. Growing on a dwarf stock can increase apple resistance to frost, cold winters with thick snow cover, as well as to the harsh Siberian climate, where the cultivation of the variety becomes possible thanks to delicate and professional cultivation.

Important! One of the features of the variety, which cannot be mentioned in the description of the apple delight, is its high yield: 4-5 years after planting, you can get about 80 kg of delicious apples. One fruit has an average weight of 120 grams, but it can grow up to 200 grams.

Tree options

It is worth noting that the tree of this variety has a high growth rate (medium growth): an adult apple grows up to 4 meters in height. Krone Delights consists of medium-sized skeletal branches, they grow vertically. Young trees (up to 7 years) have a rounded crown, over the years it noticeably stretches and becomes oval. The parameters of planting an apple should be taken into account when planting: the distance between adjacent trees should not be less than 4 meters.

Disease and pest resistance

The variety perfectly resists known diseases of fruit trees, including scabs that are widespread in temperate climates. With proper care is not afraid of delight and other fungal diseases and pests.

Apple tree Delight in bloom

It is important to know! In order to grow a healthy tree on your plot, you need to buy a special tool in the store in the form of a solution, which is then used as a preventive measure for the appearance of diseases and pests.

Planting tree

When choosing a place for planting a young tree, preference should be given to light chernozem sites. On other soils, Delight will also grow well and bear fruit due to its endurance to cold, but it is unlikely to please with abundant crops.

Important! The planting site of the seedling should not be blown by the cold north wind. The best time to land Delights is the end of April or September.

It should be borne in mind that this variety of apple refers to the self-fruitless, so the tree needs cross-pollination to get a good harvest. Breeders call varieties like Orlik, Grushovka, Bogatyr the best pollinators for Delights - these seedlings are recommended to be planted next to Delight.

The pit is prepared 1-1.5 weeks before the landing:

  1. Parameters of the pit: depth 0.7 m, height and width - 0.5 m and more.
  2. To loosen the bottom of the pit with a shovel.
  3. Add the mixture prepared in the following proportions: 5 kg of peat, 1 bucket of fertile soil, 15 g of potash and nitrogen fertilizers, 2 buckets of humus (rotted), 25 g of superphosphate.
  4. To make the seedling more stable, it is recommended to drive a peg into the pit, to which you will need to tie a tree later.

After a week and a half, you can buy a young varietal tree and plant it in a prepared pit, into which, just before planting, pour in a bucket of warm water. After a little trampling down the ground covered with a pit, you need to water the sapling again, but with settled water. At the very end you need to cover the landing site Delights with a layer of mulch: humus, moss, fine hay, peat.

Apple care

This variety of apple needs regular basic care of the tree itself. Without proper procedures, the harvest can significantly lose both in volume and taste.

Apple care

So, caring for an apple tree in this class should include:

  • Watering: weekly, in copious amounts, so that the soil under the apple tree was quite wet. An adult tree requires about 3 buckets of separated water.
  • Loosening: removing weeds and ensuring air exchange in the soil.
  • Top dressing: annually at the beginning of autumn to apply fertilizer prepared in the following proportions - 8 kg of precast compost, 5 kg of cow manure and 1 kg of bird droppings (per 1 square meter). During flowering, you must additionally use liquid fertilizers intended for apple crops.
  • Pruning: held once a year, in the spring, before the start of sap flow. It is necessary to grease the cutting places with garden pitch. Thinning out the crown, it should be borne in mind that after it the sunlight should penetrate well into the apple crown. For sanitary purposes, they also remove hanging branches with a weak growth, as well as bitches frozen over the winter.
  • Shtamb: it must be protected for the winter with a covering material (roofing sheet, net, spruce or pine paws) or smeared with mothballs or lime.

Advantages and disadvantages

Amateur and experienced gardeners have already appreciated the obvious benefits of the apple Delight, the name of which speaks for itself:

  • not afraid of cold weather and severe frosts,
  • resistant to diseases (including scab) and pests,
  • not afraid of wet soil
  • annual rich harvest with proper care (the variety can be used for commercial cultivation),
  • vysokovitaminnye fruits,
  • It does not require special care.

Note! The variety has one drawback, which can hardly be called essential - the apple tree requires annual pruning of excess branches to form its crown so that the sun's rays penetrate well through the branches, and those in turn grow only in the upper direction.

If you are going to plant this sort of apple on your plot, it is worth remembering only some features of its cultivation to get a uniform crop - the annual pruning of a thickened crown and the presence of pollinators in the neighborhood. Fully caring for the tree, the garden owner will receive annually delicious apples with a soft raspberry flavor. At the same time, they will not only please with taste, but will be useful for the body - due to the high content of beneficial substances, apples are suitable even for dietary nutrition.

The advantages of the variety Uslada

  • It tolerates winter time.
  • Not prone to diseases.
  • Not afraid of moisture and, as a result, the disease scab.
  • Large and stable in volume yields, provided that many trees of this variety grow in the garden.

It makes sense to think about breeding apples, not only for personal consumption, but also for commercial purposes. Trees do not require special care. Excellent survival and fruit in the central regions of the country.

Despite the fact that this variety is considered to be a little exposed to diseases, nevertheless, it is not worth provoking some diseases. For example, after the foliage falls, it should be completely removed, in order to avoid the spread of harmful insects, rodents and parasites.

Disadvantages varieties Uslada

This unique variety has minimum number of deficiencies. The only disadvantage of this culture is, perhaps, the fact that it has to do every year pruning of extra branches and the formation of the crown. Unfortunately, this is quite a burdensome task, especially when the tree is far from being small.

For the implementation of this care, you must be able to use a saw or pruner, have some dexterity. Then it will be possible to assert with confidence that all these inconveniences and difficulties compensate for the incredibly tasty apple fruit of Delight, the delicious taste of which you can enjoy the whole autumn and even part of the winter time.

Landing rules

Before you start planting these apples, must first thoroughly analyze the terrainwhere landing and weather conditions are planned.

If we talk about the southern areas in which the black soil prevails, then you should land Delight very late, literally at the end of autumn, in the last days of October.

With regards to the middle zone of our Motherland, then there Delight should be planted in the spring when all productive trees are planted.

Young seedlings best buy in the nursery, because it practically excludes the possibility of fraud on the part of sellers in common outlets. These trees are planted in a previously prepared loose soil.

After planting, the apple tree is watered and fertilized with manure. It should be aware that apple fertilizer will need to be carried out seasonally. Also an excellent fertilizer for this variety is wood ash. In the spring, nitrogen fertilizers are well suited: they contribute to scaring insects and other pests.

Pruning Variety Uslada

Trimming is done exclusively in spring..

First, inspect the entire apple tree - whether there are any dry branches on it that might appear during the winter time. They will no longer be useful to the tree, but they will give out an extra load. Therefore, they are cut and first of all. They must be separated to healthy wood. No dry ends should remain on the branches.

To cut the branches do not fall ill, they should be lubricated with a special tool that can be purchased at a garden shop.

According to the culture description, the crown should be oval, it is more convenient and natural for wood. It is necessary to try not to leave either too short or too long branches.

Since the apple tree of the variety Uslada is a low tree, the measures for its pruning pass without much effort.

Storing apples Delight

First harvest You can begin to collect in the last days of August and the first of September. If there is a need for storage, they should be collected a little earlier. Ripe is better not to collect, the more overripe. Otherwise they will not lie and will start to rot.

Moreover, it is worth storing fruits with wormholes, battered sides and other defects. Otherwise, these apples will disappear, and spoil those that lie next door, even if they are completely fresh and strong.

Pests and diseases

Apple tree variety Uslada is the leader (one of the few) in confronting all kinds of diseases. These include not only scab, but also all sorts of pests and fungal diseases.

Since the apple tree does not imply any special care, you should only buy in the store drug for the prevention of disease and handle the tree trunk every year. Externally, this solution is similar to white.

As it probably already became obvious to the reader, the variety of apple-tree Uslada gives one of the most delicious sweets on the planetwhich both adults and children eat with pleasure for both cheeks. Attractive red-green apples with a wonderful aroma and pleasant sourness are easy to grow yourself on your own plot, as this tree does not require any special care, and the fruit of the apple tree Delight grows just wonderful.

Natural growth region

As we mentioned, the apple tree Uslada primarily lives in the European part of Russia.

However, due to its excellent winter hardiness and endurance, Uslada can get along well in other regions. This apple tree is especially good for those parts of the country where cold and rainy summer is often observed - the resistance to scab disease in such trees is extremely high.

Generally this variety is quite unpretentious and hardy, so even novice gardeners can grow such a tree.

Another advantage this variety is his propensity for excellent yields. Moreover, the tree begins to bring a large number of fruits quite early, already in the fourth or fifth year of its life. In general, the yields are quite abundant, and, moreover, they also differ in their amazing regularity.

From year to year the tree of this variety can bear a huge amount of fruit, which, of course, can not but rejoice. On average, the yield of one apple is estimated at about 60-80 kg of ripe fruit.

Planting and care

Guaranteed high yields - the right tree care.

Young seedlings varieties Uslada better planted in loose black soil.

Nearby must be other apple varieties to ensure pollination.

In general, these trees are quite unpretentious, and therefore do not require complex maintenance. It is enough once a year to cultivate the soil with fertilizers and regularly cut extra branches..

However, it is worth noting that the pruning of trees of this variety is very easy to carry out, given their small growth (the trees of Uslada rarely grow more than 3-4 meters).

Diseases and pests

Uslada is a variety that is distinguished not only by its juicy, tasty fruits and high yields, but also by its resistance to various pests and fungal diseases.

By its ability to resist scab, Uslada confidently occupies one of the leading places.

Therefore, these special apple trees do not require any special protection against diseases; only annual preventive treatment with special chemical compounds will suffice.

The variety of apple trees Delight fully corresponds to its beautiful name. Delicate fragrant fruits with juicy fragrant pulp and light sourness - their main advantage. No wonder these amazing apples are so fond of gardeners in our country. Caring for the delight is quite simple, so you are quite able to grow such a tree on your site.

Advantages and disadvantages

Uslada has many pluses, which are noted by experienced gardeners. Among them:

  • the tree soon after planting enters the fruiting phase,
  • the variety tolerates frost easily
  • plant withstand low temperatures.

It’s difficult to talk about cons, the only thing that can disturb is the over-growth of the crown, which will require regular pruning.

Advantages and disadvantages

The advantages of apple delight usually include excellent taste of the fruit. Another advantage over other varieties - resistance to diseases of fruit crops.

Among the shortcomings, some gardeners note uneven ripening of apples. Due to thickening, the fruiting season can stretch out.

Description of the apple tree. Delight is best studied in advance in order to prepare the most convenient place for the tree, to prevent mistakes in care.

Collection and use of fruits

The first fruits ripen in mid-August. Fruiting is long - thanks to a thick crown apples ripen until the middle of September.

Using apples Delight universal. Apply the fruit for cooking culinary masterpieces, canned, consumed fresh.

Frost resistance

Uslada is resistant to low temperatures and feels great even in harsh conditions. In warm regions, the apple tree will do without winter shelter, in cold areas it is better to protect the tree.

Requirements for soil and climatic conditions

Feels great on a light loam. If the soil is poor and heavy, it is better to prepare a nutrient mixture. When planting add to the soil compost, humus. A small amount of sand and clay is useful.

Apple is recommended for cultivation even in difficult climatic conditions. Frost and heat are not an obstacle to abundant fruiting.

Planting seedlings

Mistakes made when planting a young tree can lead to poor development or even death of the plant. In order not to destroy the apple tree, it is recommended to carefully study the requirements for planting.

It is recommended to plant young plants in early autumn, this time is enough to adapt the seedling to a new place. If you have to plant in the spring, do not be late with the process - hold the planting before the juice begins to move.

Care Tips

There are a lot of tips that will easily cope with the care of an apple tree and get a harvest in a short time.

Watering is carried out in a dry pore - make 10-20 liters of water under each tree. Be sure to defend the liquid under the sun.

For fertilizers use complex formulations. Chemicals can be replaced with organic matter - infusion of mullein or humus.

Seasonal processing

During the season, irrigate apple trees from pests and diseases. To use drugs based on copper sulfate, folk remedies.

In the first year of life, the main trunk is shortened. In the following years, shoots are cut, dry or broken branches.

The history of creating varieties of apple Delight

More than fifty years ago, a well-known Russian breeder, a follower of Michurin, S. I. Isaev, developed a new early autumn variety. The result was obtained in the botanical garden of the Moscow University named after Lomonosov by complex re-crossing of wild and cultivated species of apple trees. In the experiment, among other things, the cuttings of the Narodnoe, Severyanka, and Taiga breeds were used. For 35 years, the variety has been studied, experimented. Soon, Ulad was able to adapt to growing in other regions of the country, instilling resistance to frost and increased moisture in her. Zoned apple trees have successfully spread even to rainy, damp regions of Russia and beyond.

Tree description

The apple tree of Uslada, on average, stretches no higher than 3 meters and is considered semi-dwarf. The krone is growing, prone to thickening, which prevents it from fully developing. In a young tree, it acquires a roundish shape, while in a more mature one it turns into an oval. An ingrained sapling begins to bear fruit already on the 4-5th year and brings a bountiful harvest every year - up to 80 kilograms from each apple tree. The trunk and main branches become dark gray as they grow and grow vertically with a slight slope. Young shoots rich brown, not thick, slightly covered with down. Buds are also pubescent, small, pressed to the germ. Leaves ovate, large, with a short spike at the end, fleecy from below.

Fruit Description

Apple trees bring a regular and abundant harvest. If the tree grows on nutrient-rich, well loosened soil, the maximum weight of one apple Delights can reach 200 g. On poor soils, it ranges from 100-140 g.

Fruits are round or slightly oblong, not ribbed, they smell deliciously like raspberries, when ripe they acquire a bright red or pink shade, which sometimes incorporates yellow-green fragments. The skin is elastic, thin with clear numerous white dots. The flesh is juicy, pleasant to the taste, mostly white, although it may be pale pink. Apples of this variety are good fresh and in all kinds of homemade preparations. Even in canned fruits, healthy vitamins, pectins and natural sugars are preserved. From the middle of summer to the beginning of autumn, the period of ripening of the fruits of the apple tree Delight lasts. It is recommended to collect them immature, carefully removing from the tree. In such a case, they will successfully remain until January. For better preservation, the fruit is placed in wooden boxes and sent to the cellar. Some hostesses wipe each apple with a napkin moistened with alcohol to prevent rotting, especially carefully treating the area near the tail.

By the way, overripe fruits are not showered from the branches. It is better to recycle or eat them raw. In extreme cases, they lie down for no more than a month.

Landing dates and site selection

Wherever you decide to plant Delight, it will take root on any soil. Most comfortably, the tree will feel itself on a moisture-intensive and breathable chernozem, well-lit area among other apple trees. In the shade, the fruits will lose their sugar content, and the yield will decrease. Also, the tree does not like the nearby groundwater. Make sure that they are at least 2-3 meters away. In cases of possible flooding of the site, you should land Delight on the hill and in order to avoid stagnation of water, good drainage should be foreseen.

The optimum time for planting an apple tree. Uslada is considered to be early spring, when the snow melted and the earth was warm enough. Some gardeners prefer the fall period for planting in the last decade of September and early October. In their opinion, cultivation occurs much more successfully, since a powerful root system has time to form before the start of the growing season. This contributes to rainy wet weather. In the northern regions of the country, landing was recommended to be carried out a little earlier, focusing on climatic features.

Preparatory work before landing

The soil for spring planting is prepared in autumn, and for autumn - one month before planting the seedlings. First of all, it is loosened by carefully removing the roots of perennial weeds. Then the land is fertilized by mixing 8 kg of manure, 10 kg of peat, 100 g of superphosphate and 40 g of potassium sulfate or potassium salt per square meter of garden.

If the site was under venting, in the fall it must be carefully dug so as not to destroy the tubers of the earth. Over the winter the turf will decompose. At the beginning of spring, soil is harrowed, and in May they are again dug up. Particular attention should be paid to the acidity of the soil. The norm for apple trees is considered to be a pH of 5.5-6.5. If it is higher, you must make the extinguished lime. Other gardeners recommend using dolomite flour or meadow marl to reduce acidity.

It is worth proceeding to the cultivation of a new plot two years before the laying of the garden. A few weeks before planting apple seedlings, Uslada takes on the preparation of the holes. They are dug in depth by 70-90 cm and breadth by 50-70 cm. At the same time, it is important to lay the soil from the top layer in one direction, and from the bottom - less fertile - in the other.

These requirements should not be neglected, since during the planting we will sprinkle the tree with enriched soil, i.e. removed from the upper layer. Then the bottom of the pit is thoroughly flooded and a pre-prepared filling mixture is poured with a mound, which is recommended not to be prepared in the well, but near it, which will allow to mix the fertilizer with the fertile soil from the top layer. After that, the pit is covered with a film, saving from possible rain. After 14 days, the earth will erode, and it will be possible to bury a sapling. When planting, it is important to carefully straighten its roots and water them abundantly. Before the roots should be treated clay mash.

We managed to collect the best practical tips gardeners on the preparation of nutrient mixtures for planting apple trees:

  • add 10 kg of humus (can be replaced by compost), 20 g of superphosphate, 15 g of potash fertilizer,
  • for one planting well, 2 buckets of humus or compost are needed, 3 buckets of peat crumb, 1 kg of granulated superphosphate and wood ash each,
  • if there are no mineral fertilizers, it is quite possible to replace them with organic ones - humus and compost,
  • it is categorically not recommended to use fresh manure as fertilizer: by releasing ammonia and hydrogen sulfide, it poisons the seedling root system,
  • lime and nitrogen-containing fertilizers are never added to the filling mixture because they impair the rooting of the plant,
  • wood ash can be replaced with potassium sulfate (about 150 g is needed per well), in the absence of both components, 100 g of potassium chloride are added to the mixture,
  • on sandy soils, approximately 10 cm of a mixture of humus and loamy soil is added to the bottom of the well for retaining moisture. And also requires potassium magnesia.

Planting scheme seedlings

Despite the miniature nature of the apple trees of the Uslada variety, they are planted far from other trees, which provides them with good lighting and full development. In the schemes described in the scientific literature, a row spacing of 3-5 meters is foreseen, and the distance between apple trees in the row is 2-3 meters. A week after planting, the soil near the seedling is mulched and re-watered. Tall trees need to be tied up for the first time to pegs.

Watering, loosening and weeding the soil

4-5 times a month. Delight needs watering. Under one adult tree, you need to pour a bucket of water twice a day. Watering is best done in the morning and evening. The crucial moment comes from the middle to the end of summer, during the fruiting period. At the same time, the buds of the future harvest are formed. Therefore, in order not to lose it, you need to seriously consider the water requirements of the plant. In August, watering of the tree is stopped, otherwise the shoots will enter a long growth, which can be reflected in the winter in severe frosts. If the summer was hot, watering continued until the cold weather, so that the apple tree stretched out moisture. Periodically do not forget to loosen the soil and remove weeds.

Top dressing of an apple tree begins in spring, during active flowering. Gardeners widely use mineral and organic fertilizers. Often, from 5 to 15 kg of humus or horse humus (can be replaced with bird droppings or compost) is applied per square meter of tree trunks. Also prepare a mixture of 500 g of urea and 40 g of ammonium nitrate, nitroammofoski. Liquid is poured into specially prepared holes in the soil, up to 30 cm deep, which are leveled after watering.

Every autumn, when the fruits are already harvested, the tree is fed with fertilizers that do not contain nitrogen. Especially often poor, sandy lands need this procedure.

Preventive treatment for pests and diseases

Breeders have taken care of the stability of the apple Delight to disease. But prevention does not hurt. To this end, annually in the fall removed from the garden of fallen leaves, so that bacteria do not breed and rodents do not hide. In early spring, before bud break, the tree is treated with Bordeaux mixture:250 g of unsold lime are diluted in 10 liters of cold water, and 250 g of copper sulfate is dissolved in 2.5 liters of warm water. Straining the first solution, it is combined with the second and carefully mixed.

In the period of bud break, apple trunks and branches, as well as pristolovoe soil are sprayed with insecticides. Well proven drugs: Voliam Targo, Insegar, Nurell D.

In early spring, when the sap flow begins, the branches must be cut. The main task of such pruning is to remove the "top" and thinning the crown. In the process of work, it is necessary to ensure that the branches do not cover each other. In mature trees, cleaning the crown contributes to their rejuvenation. By the way, shortening the branches, you can also adjust the yield, sugar content and the size of the fruit, the number of pests on the plant.

There are clear rules for competent pruning of apple trees:

  1. Cut by a third branch of the sapling when planting accelerate the laying of the crown.
  2. Systematic pruning should be done every year in March-April, before the buds bloom. Autumn pruning is not recommended.
  3. Inventory must be sharp.
  4. If it is necessary to remove the entire branch, the cut must pass at the base, without stumps.
  5. Place cut cut with garden pitch.
  6. Strongly drooping branches, hung with fruits, in cases where they lie on the ground, clean.
  7. When pruning young shoots, preference is given to powerful and growing straight. It is important not to confuse with the "top".
  8. "Tops" are removed without any regrets.
  9. Cut no more than ¼ shoots so as not to injure the tree.

Protecting apple from hares

Resistant to fierce winter tree can not resist rodents. To help the apple trees, their trunks at the bottom are tied with coniferous branches, wrapped in roofing felt, film or mesh, smeared with deterring mixtures. For their preparation using fish oil, naphthalene, lard. These fragrant means scare away even very hungry hares. Other gardeners practice black cardboard circles attached to the branches, which make a noise in the wind and do not allow nibbling the bark as protection.

On clone stock

The main advantage of an apple tree is that all maternal attributes are fully adopted. Grown if necessary to preserve the genetic qualities.

Growing apple delight will certainly bring pleasure even to inexperienced gardeners, because there will be no difficulty in caring. The tree, with strict observance of all the rules of agricultural engineering, will certainly thank with fruit bearing already in the third year after planting.

General information about the variety

The Uslada apple-tree is one of the varieties obtained by the famous breeder and successor of I. V. Michurin S. I. Isaev. In the course of selection work, various wild and cultivated varieties were crossed. The basic varieties were "People" and the famous "Severyanka." As a result of hard work a new variety was obtained. Twenty years ago it was zoned for the central regions of our country.

Fruit trees varieties "Uslada" successfully passed years of testing. As a result, we managed to prove the excellent winter hardiness of the plant. This apple tree quietly tolerates high humidity in the summer. In addition, the fruit trees of the described variety are very resistant to scab damage.

The main advantages of the variety “Uslada” are:

  • winter hardiness tested and proven during tests,
  • resistance to scab damage
  • very early and abundant annual fruiting,
  • very tasty dessert fruits with a high content of vitamins,
  • attractive appearance of fruit
  • quite a long period of preservation of the harvest.

Variety "Uslada" ideal for cultivation for commercial purposes. Its disadvantages include some non-one-dimensionality of ripened fruits, which can be observed in conditions of significant crown thickening. Regular and competent pruning can almost completely eliminate this problem.

Fruit trees varieties "Uslada" refer to the semi-dwarf type. Mature trees are low, and care for them is not difficult, which is also an advantage of the variety.
